🔵 🔴 🟡 Course description
The course examines the role and potential of the performing arts (with emphasis on performance) as pedagogical and social tools for empowerment, self-awareness and expression in contemporary social reality, focusing on the stages of higher education and adult workshops. Through a theoretical approach, experiential learning and group discussions/analyses and laboratory experiments, students explore the integration of basic sociological theories into practical methods of teaching performing arts. The course includes lectures, workshops, analysis of texts and examples, as well as a diary of reflection and recording of experiences with the aim of crystallizing critical thinking in relation to the pedagogy of the performing arts.
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
